Dear Jr. Saints Fan,
I want to thank you for your interest in becoming a founding sponsor of the Delta Junior Saints youth football and cheer. The Delta Junior Saints was formed with the idea of providing young people, ages 6-14 an opportunity to learn discipline, responsibility, and teamwork through the experience of football and cheer. It is our intention and hope that while we teach the young people in our community these needed skills we will also instill in them a love for football and cheer that will serve them beyond their time with us and even beyond their experience with Delta High School. We are designed to be a feeder program for Delta High School and in doing so we have sought the support of the administration and athletic department. I am proud to say we have both in spades. As you might imagine starting a program like ours is not inexpensive. We are literally starting from scratch and will have to build the program from the ground up. This includes uniforms for football and cheer, tackling dummies and shields, recruiting tools, storage facilities, league fees etc. Additionally, it is our intent to make this as affordable as possible. We can accomplish this by lowering registration fees and by providing scholarships for kids that need a little extra help. But we need help from individuals like you in order to make this all happen. We need to raise $30,000 in the next month. The urgency is based on the necessity to start getting the word out. We must get kids signed up and purchase the equipment needed to start our season. Your help, as a Jr. Saint sponsor is critical to our success. If it wasn’t for folks like you that support our program we would have no program. Can we count on you to make a donation today? I have included a list of our sponsorship levels for your review. As a frame of reference each Touchdown sponsor can supply 15 football players and cheerleaders with the equipment and uniforms they need for the 2010 season. I should also note that the Jr. Saints are a 501 c-3 non-profit corporation so your donation is tax deductible. Our top level is our Touchdown Sponsor of $5,000, which will suit-up one for squad.
